Biography

Linna Gonzalez, in 2019, started her path with the collective exposition "AUTÓNOMO" in the Museo de Arte Moderno en Bogotá (MAMBO) with her piece "Testimonio" Same piece gave Linna the second place in the category of -Formation- in the cultural and artistic event "Primavera Cajicá 2019". Moreover, Linna presented the piece "Rosas para mamá" the piece, had a place in the circuit of art Nodo San Felipe associated with "Domestik2", and concluded in a presentation of short format named "Formato Chic" in the gallery Elvira Moreno in 2020

Abstract:

My interest in plastic arts is born from the usage of pictorial tools as a method of exploration in order to become closer to the truth, I mean, to become closer to everyday life in paying attention to things such as the anger in a hard stroke or the kindness in a dim stroke, to the universe in blue cobalt, a transparent river of watercolor, a smooth skin in opaline and the brightness in the white color of his/her eyes, all that so that the moment is captured when the spectator gets a feeling with my works; and is at that moment where art arises. I manage universal approaches that allow to think through materials, without it being limited or transgressed in the ephemeral time
